Is there anything I should do before the procedure?

All tweezing or waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to the procedure; electrolysis no less than 5 days before. Any eyelash or eyebrow tinting or eyelash curling should be done 48 hours before procedure. Do not wear contact lenses during the eyeliner procedure. If you have any history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpes simplex, permanent makeup procedure may stimulate a cold sore outbreak. Please contact your physician to obtain the proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks. Many physicians prescribe 12 capsules of 500mg Valtrex or Zovirax. These can be taken two times a day, two days before micropigmentation and four days after or as physician prescribes.

How long are the procedures?

First visit will take about 1 hour. During this time we’ll discuss and review the range of design/shape and color suitable for your permanent makeup application. Please wear your makeup and bring your eyebrow or lip pencils to show me colors that you use in your daily makeup routine. A “Scratch (allergy) test” will be done at least 24 hours prior any permanent make-up application. The eyebrow procedure takes approximately 1 to 1 and a half hours, eyeliners 1 to 1 and a half hours, lip liner 1 to 2 hours, full lips 2 to 2 and a half hours.

How old must some one be legally to have permanent makeup services?

According to state of New Jersey laws the person has to be 18 year old in order to get permanent makeup without parent / legal guardian written permission.

Is infection possible?

Even with a minor scratch infection is possible. However, there should be no major complications. You must keep the area clean and follow your after care instructions.

Is it safe?

All procedures are performed with disposable supplies and follow strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines as required by the local Health Department, Center of Disease Control (CDC) and OSHA regulations.

Does is hurt?

Topical anesthetic is used at no additional cost to provide you with the most comfort during the procedure. After the effect of anesthetic stops, you will feel a sunburn like sensation in the treated area. You will be provided with the necessary ointments for after procedure home care.

What is the difference between Microblading & Permanent Makeup?

Microblading is a semi permanent procedure that may last 1-3 years depending on ones skin type and age while Permanent Makeup is a more permanent procedure that you may only need to touch up once. With Microblading there is a manual pen like blade used which allows the creation of hair like strokes giving a more natural result, while in permanent makeup a machine is used to create full shaped brows.
